Dear Coach Community,
As we have watched racial tragedies expose prejudice and injustice in our country in the pas few weeks, it is a call to remind us of our true purpose as coaches to serve all of Humanity. In these uncertain times as Covid continues to rampantly impact our marginalized communities, our justice system has once again brought us to question our stand and stance in racial biases, that perpetuate oppression against people of color and more towards our black brothers and sisters. George Floyd’s death with not be forgotten and we at ICF Oregon stand with our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities in these times of distress.
We are reaching out to our Black brothers and sisters to let them know that we stand with then in this mourning. ICF Oregon is committed to bringing equality and social transformation through creating spaces of deeper awareness, grieving, empowerment, and connection.
We are community. Our culture is a culture of service. We are all in this together.
