Daring and Doing: Holding Space for Diverse Clients

What gets in the way of others experiencing inclusion and feeling a sense of belonging in the presence of others? Often, it’s the little things we do or say or don’t say. Behaviors that on the surface don’t appear harmful and sometimes may be related to our unconscious or implicit biases. You’ve done it. And it’s been done unto you. The impact goes far deeper than what meets the eye. Micro-behaviors can serve as strategies of disconnection and exclusion or setting psychological safety and inclusion. This experiential workshop will provide a safe space for coaches to self-reflect, rumble with vulnerability, connect with various dimensions of their diversity, then leverage this knowledge to improve their interpersonal and coaching capacity.
