SUMMARY:Using Coaching Research in your Coaching Practice – March 24, 2026
DESCRIPTION:\n\nUsing Coaching Research in your Coaching Practice – March 24, 2026\nFacilitated by Denise Gaskin, Ph.D., PCC, ICF Oregon Past President\n March 24 at 4:00-5:30pm PT\nWe all know coaching is a blend of both Art and Science. Each of us attended a coaching school that had a theoretical foundation. Mine was built on Psychology and Integral Theory and Somatic Theory. Some coaching schools are more results focused, while others focus on the whole person, and embodiment of learning. In this SIG we will explore, through dialogue and practice, the research on coaching and how it can translate into practice.\nEach SIG meeting you will be given a research study in advance to read. We will spend about 30 minutes of our meeting talking about the research, then break into triads to have time to connect with two other coaches and experiment with new practices, in a safe and fun learning environment. This SIG meets quarterly.\n\n\n
