SUMMARY:Embracing Conflict: Empowering coaching through non-violent communication
DESCRIPTION:Embracing Conflict: Empowering coaching through non-violent communication\nMarie Lacrampe\nNonviolent Communication is a powerful yet simple communication framework that can be applied to various aspects of life, including coaching and conflict resolution.\nIn this introduction, coaches will learn how integrating nonviolent communication principles can enhance their ability to guide clients through conflicts, foster empathy, and facilitate positive transformations. The combination of NVC and coaching principles offers a compassionate and effective approach to reacting in a conflict situation and identifying growth opportunities.\nLearning objectives:\n\nDemonstrates Ethical Practice: taking a step back from conflict and being able to react differently supports an ethical relationship to clients\nCultivates Trust and Safety: being able to deal with conflict in a peaceful manner reinforces the trust that client will put info the coach\nMaintains presence: by being able to reconnect to themselves in a conflict and be in touch with the client’s perspective, the coach maintains their presence even in challenging situations\n\nAt the end of this session, coaches will be able to understand the framework of nonviolent communication and start to use it for themselves and with their clients. In particular, this presentation will deepen their understanding of the conflicts they encounter in their practice and enable them to decide how they want to react to a conflicting situation. The practical tools shared in the presentation will offer a reflection medium to identify growth opportunities from conflict and bring ease into the difficult conversations.\n1.0 CCE = 0.75 Core Competency + 0.25 Resource Development\n
